Both of these questions get asked at our counter every week, and neither one requires a salesperson to answer. Putting them on the website simply means you can get to an answer at nine in the evening, before you ever speak to anybody, and walk in already knowing roughly what your project involves. That is a better conversation for everyone.

Where the tools stop and we start
A calculator can multiply a length by a width honestly. It cannot see the doorway that will not clear a thicker plank, the subfloor that needs leveling, or the transition where a new floor meets an old one at the wrong height. A shortlist can narrow eight materials to two. It cannot tell you how a sample feels underfoot or reads in your own light. Both of those handovers happen at the free in-home measure, which is where an estimate becomes the number we actually order from.
