What payment methods do you accept?

You can check most of this yourself, without calling anybody and without giving anyone your details. There are three routes for settling a flooring balance here, all three are stated in plain sight, and knowing what the list covers is more useful than it sounds, because it also tells you exactly which questions a web page cannot answer for you.

The three routes you can confirm yourself

• The cards. Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover at the showroom counter at 15570 Veterans Memorial Pkwy in Wentzville. Four of the major networks, which between them cover most of what is in a wallet.
• The online payment page. A balance can be settled from home rather than at the counter, through the payment page linked from our financing page, in the section about paying the balance.
• Financing through Wisetack. A short application on the lender's own site, prequalifying online in a few minutes without committing you to a loan. How that runs start to finish is on the Wisetack walkthrough.

None of the three requires you to talk to anybody to verify that it exists. That is the point of writing it down.

What that list tells you

It tells you the practical thing most people are actually asking, which is whether they need to do anything unusual to buy a floor from a family owned showroom rather than a national chain. They do not. The cards most people already carry are the ones on the counter here, and if you would rather not put a project on a card at all there is a plan available through a separate lender.

It also tells you that the paying side is deliberately kept simple and separate from the selling side. Nobody behind the counter is trying to steer you toward one route, because the route makes no difference to the floor you get or the number you were quoted, which is built from your rooms and covered on the page about what decides a quote.

What it does not tell you

This is the part worth being straight about. A list of accepted cards says nothing about the shape of a particular order. It does not tell you when a balance falls due on your job, how a current offer lands on your invoice, or which route makes more sense for a project of your size. Those answers belong to your order, and your order does not exist until somebody has measured your rooms.

It also does not cover anything outside the three routes above. If you are wondering about a method that is not on this page, ask rather than assume, because a guess written on a web page is worth nothing to you at a counter. Why no payment schedule appears on this page

For the same reason there is no price list here. A number written for a room nobody has walked is a guess rather than a quote, and the page on what decides a quote sets out at length why this showroom will not publish one. How an order gets arranged sits in the same category. A single bedroom of carpet and a main level of tile with a stair in the middle are not the same job, and one printed arrangement covering both would only set up a surprise later.

What is written down is the order of the work itself. Consultation, samples narrowed down, an in-home measure that costs nothing, and the quote that comes out of it is the thing you approve before any material is ordered. Where the paying question actually sits

Everything on this page can be read from a phone. Almost nothing that decides a floor can be. Which card the counter takes is settled by the time you finish this paragraph, and it stays settled no matter which floor you end up buying. What the floor has to survive, how a sample reads against your own trim, and whether the color you liked at the rack still works with the lamps on are not questions a screen has ever answered for anybody. What a showroom shows that a website cannot goes into why.

So take the paying question off the list early and leave it there. It changes nothing about which floor is right for your rooms, and the floor you choose changes nothing about what the counter accepts. Financing can be gone over at the counter alongside everything the financing page sets out, and the rest of the conversation belongs to the floor itself.
